University Planning

University Planning is responsible for campus master planning, allocation of space through the Capital Project and Space Allocation Committee (CaPS) and project planning for capital projects and major renovations.

Project Development & Controls

Project Development & Controls sits on and advises Project Planning Committees regarding the financial and implementation framework on which a major capital project will be based producing a preliminary total project cost estimate prior to the approval of the project.

Capital Projects

The Capital Projects group is composed of the Project Management, and Design and Engineering teams, which handle all renovation and new-construction Capital Projects.

The Chief’s Office

University Planning Design and Construction’s (UPDC) mandate is to integrate and coordinate across the areas of planning, project development, design and engineering, management of projects and space to delivery value and consistent levels of service for the University.

UPDC Finance and Administration

UPDC Finance department centrally manages the overall business administration of departments across the UPDC portfolio as they strive to achieve their mandates.

UPDC Projects

UPDC is responsible for campus master planning, space allocation, design & engineering services, costing, and all construction and renovation projects.
