Schwartz Reisman West is phase 1 of the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus and is the first new building on 108 College Street. The anticipated building massing consists of a tapered 13-storey tower (Mechanical Penthouse not included). Occupants will be University of Toronto Entrepreneurship (UTE), the Innovations & Partnerships Office (IPO), the Vector Institute of Artificial Intelligence (VIAI), the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society, Centre for Entrepreneurship, UTEST, as well as Office/Start-Ups space. To encourage cross-collaboration, programmatic shared spaces will be distributed vertically through the building. Collaborative spaces include: a 2-storey atrium, multiple instructional spaces including a large 150 to 200-seat multipurpose room, shared meeting rooms, two Winter Gardens, and a café, all serving to foster exchange and build a community of entrepreneurs and innovators.
