Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus West is the first phase of the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus and is the first new building on 108 College Street. The anticipated building massing consists of a tapered 13-storey tower (Mechanical Penthouse not included). Occupants will be University of Toronto Entrepreneurship (UTE), the Innovations & Partnerships Office (IPO), the Vector Institute of Artificial Intelligence (VIAI), the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society, Centre for Entrepreneurship, UTEST, as well as Office/Start-Ups space. To encourage cross-collaboration, programmatic shared spaces will be distributed vertically through the building. Collaborative spaces include: a 2-storey atrium, multiple instructional spaces including a large 150 to 200-seat multipurpose room, shared meeting rooms, two Winter Gardens, and a café, all serving to foster exchange and build a community of entrepreneurs and innovators.
